Yarn Along
Joining Small Things for the yarn along! I'm still working on the sleeves of Maddie's sweater. I was going along well last week when it was wonderfully cool. This week feels like August however and I haven't wanted to work with the heavy yarn! Last night we had raging thunderstorms so perhaps that will break the heat and humidity. I borrowed the book Real Snacks from the library on the advice of a fellow 4H mom and mom to Maddie's friend Norah. I tried the cheese so crackers which were delicious and so easy to put together. We also discovered frozen banana soft serve. YUM! Enjoy your week. Our village's annual Memorial Day Parade is this evening and passes right by our house. Our day care family plus some friends will be here for the fun! Hopefully the thunderstorms stay far away!

such beautiful yarn....we are having the storms here too!
ReplyDeleteBeen stormy here, too; heavy rain w/ hail (not good for the garden), but no thunder or lightning. Hope you enjoyed the parade!
ReplyDeleteThat books sounds good! I will have to check it out. Our weather has turned delightfully cool which is wonderful for knitting! How fun that you are teaching your 4h girls! Passing on skills and crafts is such a delight.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new book suggestion. I'll have to see if my library has it.
