Last night we worked with our 4H group to make bluebird boxes. While it was a bit stressful for Brian and me, the kids had a grand time. That's all that counts I think! In the end the boxes are 90% kid made therefore not even close to "perfect" but its the imperfection that makes them charming and wonderful. I am doubtful that many of the kids even held or used a hammer or screwdriver so giving them the opportunity to do that on their own was the goal. As you can see by the smiles and obvious pride in the last picture they were happy!
