Yarn Along

I am joining back in the yarn along today! Many of my 4H girls are moving along well with their knitting so I felt I could go back to my own!

I am still working along on Maddie's sweater. I am now at the sleeves which my mom taught me to make at the same time so they come out to the same length. I wish it was done for Maddie! We had a lovely tease of summer weather last week and now we are back to being chilly. It will be ready for early morning camping trips and fall though! I am reading The Ride of Her Life by Lorna Seilstad. On Friday morning at storyhour I remembered I was going to need a new book soon and forgot my list. I wandered the shelves for a minute while the kids were busy listening to stories and came across this one. I'll admit it the cover totally got me. Its a good story, easy read and predictable but that's OK! Its summer and its a summer read. Its also a Christian Literature book although I didn't know that until I started it. We've started our summer break here so Maddie and I will be enjoying lots of books, yarn and walks! Enjoy the yarn along!
