I did manage some Back To School Fairy things for Maddie in the midst of everything going on here! The best part of starting in August is she can have a new summer outfit to start off in which comes off the sale rack then we wait for the back to school clothes to move to the sale rack and get some new fall and winter things when its actually the right weather! She loved the giraffe shirt especially after our trip to the fair on Saturday.
The day went great. She cheerfully did her work. Well, we had a few moments every now and then where she said "Why are we doing this any way?". We finished the day with our first biology experiment-looking at onion skin cells and cells in a slice of celery under the microscope (thanks again Poppa Bill & Mamaw Mary!). It was a great end to the day.
