She has her own camera now, we passed on the old flip style video camera to her (more on that soon!) so some of these videos are her own. Like this one...
We saw Molly and took a video for Sharon...Momma running the camera this time!
We spent a lot of time in Felicity's corner of the store.
We had a lot of fun seeing all there was to see there! After that we walked around Rockerfeller Center for a while. Here is Maddie's video of that. She is narrating for her friend Mackenzie...I think just because it was fun!
A LEGO store has opened up in Rockerfeller Center and we saw an apple they constructed from 1.5 million legos. I thought I took a picture but it doesn't seem to be anywhere! In the afternoon we attended the King Tut Exhibit in Times Square at the Discovery Center. We couldn't take any pictures or videos while inside. It was a lot of fun. We learned some new things and reinforced quite a lot of what we already learned. Brian decided that Maddie and I know way too much about mummy making but its Maddie's favorite part! On the whole I would say it was a good exhibit but not as good as we expected. When we were done there we got dinner at Daisy Mae's BBQ (yummy!) then headed back to Pete & Ruth's house.
We stayed with Pete and Ruth until Monday. I have to admit that most of the week was spent in simply hanging out at home and enjoying our books. We did go to Lake George on Thursday and had a lot of fun. As usual Maddie made instant friends with a couple of boys and they did their very best to catch a fish with sand buckets. Fortunately for the parents and fish they were not successful (one of the boys wanted to take the fish home). Here is Maddie having fun in the water:
We had a good, restful week off and are ready to get back to reality on Monday...maybe!! :0)
