You may remember that last year we had butterflies hatching and then we released them. If you look back at last May or June you can see the post about the release and Maddie having one rest on her finger before taking off. The last few nights we have had visitors that look quite a bit like the butterflies we released last year. We are wondering if they are the children or grandchildren of "our" butterflies!
This event alone would be exciting to us but there is more! They arrive in the evening, usually when I am making dinner and Maddie is outside playing. Here is what has happened several nights now:
My kid...the butterfly whisperer!! They won't come near Brian or me...just Maddie. Its so much fun to watch!!
