We are so excited today! When we got our mail we had a package containing a flat brother and sister in it! They are from Hawaii, the island of Oahu!! This was a conversation maker for sure. Maddie was excited to get a package from so far away. Brian and I keep wondering where we should take pictures!! Our principal dad and teacher mom minds are in overdrive. Tomorrow they are going to the library with us. Not only is it a weekly trip for us but it is one of the first houses in Scotia. We think we will also make stops at Poppa's bike shop and probably Farmer Phil's farm stand where we stop weekly for corn, tomatoes and cucumbers. Then I got the idea to go to one of the locks for a picture and an explanation of the Erie Canal. Brian suggested the Battlefield or other Revolutionary War site. So many ideas!!
Then we had a good surprise in my e-mail. Flat Maddie visited a Dairy Farm!!
Here is what they said: Flat Maddie visited our dairy farm in Nicholville, NY today. We live just south of the St. Lawrence River & the Canadian border, and just north of the Adirondack mountains.
Now we can be busy taking pictures while waiting for the next installment of Flat Maddie travels!!
