Brian was home with us today so we decided to go to a program at the Pine Bush about frogs and other amphibians in winter. It was really interesting and we learned quite a bit. We didn't take as long a hike as we would've liked but they had concerns about ice on the trail. We didn't see much ice but instead of going back out we spent some time trying out our new winter weeds field guide!

Hard to believe looking at this that if you turn to your left is the dump and airport.
Maddie loves being up front with the leader/instructor/naturalist leading the hike. Questions and exchange of information are important!
