Maddie gets it

Every once in a while the kids in my life amaze me with their understanding of something. Thats happened a lot in the last day or two around here...both with my little chicks and with more grown up things with Maddie. Our little bud who is fighting cancer got some really good news. His tumor has shrunk enough to be operable. There is still a fight ahead but things are looking very positive. Today the kids and I made cards in anticipation of his surgery next week. When Maddie was done she had a very Dr.Suessish looking thing on her paper. After she explained it to me I asked if we could do a video for Collin to explain the parts. Maddie understands that love is surely a big part of healing. And now I know for sure she has been listening to me all these long months!
