Gym Show 2010

The last item on our list. For now. This is a busy month!! Today was Maddie's Gym Show with Mrs.Merritt. She was thrilled to be a part of it and so excited to be pulled out from the group to do a couple of things with the other girls. She put in a lot of work this weekend. There was a 2 hour rehersal on saturday and today she had to be there at noon when the show didn't start until 2. Brian made her a big bacon, ham, cheese omlete and toast breakfast. I don't really think she got why we wanted her to eat so much until later! I gave her a snack in the car on the way to the show but she still was a very HUNGRY child by the time we were done. In fact we all forgot about anything but feeding the hungry child so her baton is hopefully with Mrs.Merritt in safe keeping. She did a great job and smiled throughout the show. The smiling happy part is the most important one to me! She loves to perform. We got our directions mixed up so we were on our left as Maddie told us but it wasn't her left which is where she was! If I had thought about it for a moment we might've ended up on the right side but then Brian wouldn't have gotten all those cute upside down toothless grins. I'm sorry to say the video won't upload so if you want to see it you will have to visit us and suffer through. :0)
