Maddie was so excited today she could barely contain herself. Schoolwork was slow going but we got through it finally! She had a dress rehersal tonight for her dance recital. She is dancing to "If you're happy and you know it" in a pink leotard and very fluffy tutu and is completely thrilled with the whole thing. They have a closed circuit tv so we can see into the dance studio without all the stage mothers getting in the way. I watched more tonight than I have all year. Maddie kept twitching her hips just to get that tutu moving. She was very cute. I wish we were getting the whole thing over with shortly but we have to live through another week of rehersals then finally the recital at Proctor's. She announced to me that she is not one bit scared to be on the stage. I am not exactly sure why she felt the need to tell me that. I will be completely surprised if she doesn't bloom up there but perhaps should be ready to see some tears?? Hopefully not!
