Thank goodness I managed to get it done in time, just in time! Maddie was so cute and patient about waiting. The best part was on Friday. She said to me "Momma, I've thought about it and if you can only get one thing done try to do the skirt, OK? I'd really rather have something you made me than something from the store. I love the things you make so much." If anything is going to spur Momma the seamstress into action that speech will do it! Maddie had a great time wearing the outfit and was in it all day from the time she got up until dinner. We were having upside down pizza or pizza sandwich and we didn't want to mess up the uniform.
We had a lot of fun visiting with cousins Karen and Sharon in the afternoon then visiting with Mamaw Louise, Poppa Jim, Aunt Eileen, Uncle Errol, Stacy and Bella! When we got home we went to meet the cider and doughnut truck from the firehouse and trick or treat at some houses. Maddie had a wonderful time and even managed to see her friend Grace from church for a minute. We got home tired, chilly but with a bouncy happy kid. Hope you had fun today!!
And why is she running? The lady at the door is a Yankee fan who "considered" not giving her candy! Maddie was so proud of herself for not saying "Oh those Stinky Yankees!"
