Flat Maddie near Utica again!

We received this message this week from a family who lives just outside Utica. Poor Flat Maddie is having trouble getting out of NY! Hopefully soon. Here is what they wrote and the pictures:
We live in Central NY near Utica. I know this is only about 1hr.15 min. from you, my sister lives in Rotterdam. We took a few pictures to show you what summer is like here in Central NY. We live about 1 hour south of the Adirondack Mountains, so it is usually a little cooler here than some areas of NY. This year we have been warmer and more humid. In the 1st picture the boys are Golfing at a course in Utica. They have been taking lessons this summer. Matt is 9 & Dan is 11. The second picture is along the Erie Canal and NY state Thruway. and The 3rd is in our Garden. This year we are growing tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots summer squash, zucchini, peas, peppers, and pumpkins. We loved how creative your Flat Maddie is, awesome outfit! We will send her on to the next address today, looks like she is off to another NY address just north of us. Happy Travels!
