Wonder Woman 4 bricks high?

Last week Maddie had a great mail day. She got the new American Girl catalog and a new Lego Club magazine all in the same day. The Lego Club introduced new sets created by Lego for Superheros! Maddie was super excited then she saw one of the sets included Wonder Woman. She had a Walmart gift card Aunt Jan Tupper gave her for Christmas and decided that she wanted to use it for the SuperMan vs. Power Armor Lex set. We had to order it since it doesn't seem to be available in the stores yet and today it arrived!

Maddie could not wait to open up the box so we negotiated and I said we could get it out of the packaging but she had to wait until the kids went home before opening it to build. Too many little parts with too many little fingers! Maddie was impatient but managed to make it until 5.

Almost the instant the door shut we had to get things open! There were so many parts but Maddie was confident and started without waiting for Principal Dad, the building supervisor.

Of course Wonder Woman, Superman and Lex Luthor were the first to get put together!

There was a lot of work to do! And then, darn it, Daddy and Momma said she had to stop to eat dinner. That's got to be a first!

And finally, success!!!

How many times can a kid give Lex Luthor bunny ears?

Maddie did a super job!! She only needed help a couple of times. Brian and I were proud of her sticking to it and getting it done! I see lots of battles between Lex, Wonder Woman and Superman in the very near future.
