Christmas!

I am way behind but here are our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day pictures! Maddie enjoyed a nice long break and are now starting to get back into the swing of schoolwork. We are going to try workboxes starting this week. I'll post more on that later.

On Christmas Eve Maddie sang with the cherub choir at church for the 7:00 service. They all looked so cute and did a great job. Here she is with her new dress she wore.




When we got home Maddie got to open 2 presents. One for herself and one for Felicity and Samantha. Christmas jammies of course!!




Then we had to get cookies for Santa! We forgot Rudolph's carrot this year....



On Christmas Day we woke up bright and early! Well, Maddie woke up bright and early, came to snuggle in bed with us and then we were all up. We gave up sleep at 5:30 and came downstairs. I think its the earliest we have been up on Christmas!! Maddie loved opening presents and giving presents equally which was great! The day after Christmas she kept trying to pick a favorite present but had to give up and decided she liked everything....pink telescope, Felicity's horse and new outfits, the new dress, her new handknit sweater, the hiking stick....




Brian made a wonderful dinner of roasted beef tenderloin, king crab legs, roasted potatoes and green bean bake. It was all yummy but, as you can see in the pictures, Maddie was not at all sure of the crab legs!



We had a fun time but now its back to work!! More on our new system later.....
