Not a fun Easter!

I'm sorry to say that Easter was a bit of a bust at our house. I came down with strep throat friday and we spent saturday morning at the on-call to get some much needed antibiotics. By Sunday morning I was doing better but still not back to pure 100% Momma so we had to ditch all our plans and stay home. Brian did take Maddie to church since she was singing but then it was home. Isn't she so cute? At least I was able to get her dressed with her hair brushed! Her new dress is still fabric sitting on the dining room table...maybe next week I told Maddie.

We took today off so I could have some more time to recuperate and to clean house so its presentable for the kids (Easter grass was all over the living room). We did make one trip out to the library where Maddie signed up for her own card and was able to check out her own books. She was thrilled. Her first choice was Princess Bess gets dressed and her second choice was The Magic School Bus in Space. Lots of fun.


Currently Maddie is out with Poppa Jim and Mamaw Louise to see How to Train a Dragon. Hopefully they are having lots of fun and everyone stays healthy!!
