We are on vacation this week and have been very busy so far! Maddie watched Paula Dean last week and wanted to make some outrageous cookies..Three Chocolate Cookies to be exact. We did that on Sunday so we would have them this week. They are a definite vacation cookie...just looking at the darn things will add 5 pounds to the hips. On Monday we were off to The Great Escape for trip #2. This time we did a little of the amusement park then headed into the water park for the late afternoon and early evening. Maddie had a great time all around but we need to get swimming lessons under her belt so she can be comfortable in the water. I went on a roller coaster! Yikes! Brian did one with Maddie then I did the other. All in all it was a lot of fun. Tuesday we headed to the NYS Museum because Maddie wanted to see the Mastadon. We were very pleased because it was really the first time we can recall her paying close attention to the items in the museum, asking questions and interacting with the exihibit. We also went to the second floor to ride on the merry go round which she loved. Today we will be heading to the Saratoga Battlefield!
