Joining Small Things for the Yarn Along!

I finished Brian's socks! Yay!! I finished literally minutes ago so have no idea yet if they will fit. I have my fingers crossed. I have started a hat for one of my day care kiddos. I am always at a loss at Christmas about what to do for them. I want to do something special but there are always many kids (7 this year!). I am probably starting way too late but am going to attempt to make them all a pair of mittens except for the two youngest who will get a hat. I don't know if I will make it but its worth a shot! I just have to put down the excellent book I am reading called The Spark written by the mom of an autistic boy who pulled him from the system. Its amazing what this family accomplished. Its very inspiring and speaks to my rebel homeschool mom self!! What are you reading and stitching?
