The butterflies made their apperance last Friday and we let them go yesterday when the weather finally warmed up. The day care kids participated since they have been watching and learning right along with Maddie. We had a GREAT time! One butterfly finally landed on Maddie's finger and then stayed there for about 5 minutes for pictures and saying good-bye. It was very cool.
Jennifer ...here I am , giving this one more shot . I just wanted to tell you what a fantastic picture this is of Maddie holding that beautiful delicate butterfly on her little finger. That was a great experience for the children to learn how the rather ugly catterpillar turns into this lovely butterfly. These are things I miss doing with the nursery school kiddies. Bella`s class did the same thing ...she loved it. Enjoying your blog ...
